October 2008 State Board Meeting - October 12th

At the Western Plains Chapter in Lakin, Kansas

Hello everyone,

I have blocked out 10 rooms for Oct. 11, 2008 for State Board Members or anyone that wants to come to Lakin for the State Meeting.  They are all no smoking rooms with either a king or 2 beds to a room.  We get them for $78.94 per room. If there are 3 or more in the rooms with 2 beds it is 5.00 extra.

There is a Wal-Mart across the street.  Applebees next door and a Home Depot.

You will need to call for reservation before Sept. 27, 2008. After that you may or may not get a room.  They will give you the same price for the rooms.  Make reservation early so you will have a room. 

If all 10 rooms are rented we can have the meeting room free for a Jam Session, if not you can play in the lobby.

They have a breakfast bar but we will be having cinnamon  rolls, donuts, coffee, ice tea and juice at Lakin on Sunday.

I know it is a long way out here but I have made the trip every 3 months so I am hoping everyone will come out here once to show Western Plains Chapter that the eastern people are interested in what goes on here.
